Overview

FAME is a mobile photo and creative-direction application designed to help users capture, select, style, save, and share images through curated visual directions, live studio sessions, and custom visual profiles.

This Privacy Policy explains how FAME handles information in connection with the app.

Age Rating

FAME is rated 4+ on the App Store.

FAME is not built as a social network, does not include public user profiles, and does not require users to submit personal information to our servers to use the core app experience.

If a child uses FAME, camera, photo library, and sharing features should be used with appropriate parent or guardian supervision.

No Server Collection

FAME does not collect or store your photos, live session captures, portfolio entries, curated references, custom-eye images, or visual analysis results on our servers.

Your app content stays on your device unless you decide to share it yourself using Apple system sharing features or third-party apps you choose.

On-Device Processing

FAME is designed to work primarily on-device.

Photos, camera captures, saved portfolio entries, curated references, visual fingerprints, and app settings are stored locally on your device so the app can function.

FAME may process images locally to:

- select a best shot

- create feed, story, and original exports

- apply creative-direction styling

- analyze framing, face position, crop, tone, and visual composition

- build and save custom visual profiles such as Curate Your Eye

This processing happens on-device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Camera and Photo Library Data

FAME requests access to your camera and photo library only so you can:

- capture live studio images

- import photos into the app

- build custom eyes from reference images

- save results back to your library

- share selected exports

When you use these features, FAME may temporarily or permanently store images locally on your device for app functions such as:

- live session review

- portfolio storage

- try another direction

- custom-eye references

- export generation

Face and Image Analysis

FAME may use Apple-provided on-device frameworks and local image-processing systems to analyze images for artistic and technical purposes, including:

- framing

- face position

- face ratio

- exposure and lighting balance

- crop decisions

- aesthetic matching

- retouching and visual styling

This analysis is used only to power the app’s creative features.

FAME does not use face data for identity verification, biometric authentication, or personal identity recognition.

Any face-related or image-analysis data used by FAME remains on-device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Custom Eyes and Local Visual Data

If you use Curate Your Eye, FAME may create locally stored visual fingerprints, rankings, or style references derived from the images you choose.

These are used only to generate your in-app creative experience and remain stored on your device unless deleted by you.

Sharing

If you choose to share an image, export, or branded result, that action is handled through Apple system sharing features or a third-party destination you select, such as Messages, Mail, WhatsApp, or Instagram.

Once content is shared outside FAME, it is governed by the privacy practices of the destination service.

Subscriptions and Purchases

FAME offers subscriptions through Apple’s App Store.

Purchases, renewals, billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

FAME does not receive your full payment card or billing information.

Local Deletion

You may delete saved sessions, portfolio items, custom eyes, reference images, and other locally stored app content from within the app. Deleting such content removes the associated app data from your device.

Data Security

Because FAME stores core working data locally on your device, the protection of that data depends in part on your device security, passcode settings, Apple account protections, and any device backup services you use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and Last Updated date above.
